Armstrong’s vertical bayonet design and direct electric vaporizers provide an on-demand supply of ammonia vapor for specific applications. Vertical Vaporizers can provide process throughput from 50kg to 2500 kg per hour using steam or hot water or heat transfer fluids as the heating medium. Safe, highly reliable and suitable for Hazardous Areas, electric Vaporizers can also maintain or provide additional pressure within storage tanks. It allows for the transferring or monitoring of liquid ammonia from the tank.
ARMSTRONG HEATERS
Process fluid enters the vaporizer’s shell side where the steam heater, heat transfer tubes heat the ammonia, which exits to the reactor downstream. Superheat can be built into the shell, removing the need for additional downstream equipment.
